Maldives is currently being represented at the largest Seafood Expo Global 2018, which is being held in Brussels, Belgium from 24th to 26th of April.
Sponsored by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), Maldives annually participates in the expo as part of promotional works done by Fisheries Promotion Board.
In addition to the state-owned Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO), Maldives Marine Products, Horizon Fisheries, Ensis Fisheries, Ocean Hunter as well as Seaspear Marine are taking part in the Maldives contingent. Furthermore, Euro Maldives Global, Ocean Fresh, Ocean Seafood and Big Fish Maldives is also participating in this year’s seafood expo.
“Seeing the event grow every year is a testament to how the industry is doing and reinforces the fact that meeting face-to-face matters to buyers and suppliers,” Diversified Communications Group Vice President Liz Plizga said. “This is a unique opportunity for the global seafood industry to make valuable business connections.”
The Expo, which is the world’s largest industry-focused trade event has a total of 1,946 companies from 78 countries exhibiting at this year’s expo.
