Recently appointed ambassador to the United States (US), Ms. Thilmeeza Hussain has presented credentials to President of US, Mr. Donald Trump.
She presented the credentials on 8th July in a ceremony held at the White House.
In a tweet, she thanked the US for constant support in strengthening Maldives’ democracy and creating stronger bonds within the countries.
Ms. Thilmeeza previously held the post of Adjunct Professor of Sustainability at Rampao College in New Jersey and was appointed as the Ambassador in April 2019.
