State-run fisheries company MIFCO has reduced the price of its Fasmeeru brand smoked tuna, or ‘valhoamas’.
While the company previously sold a kilo of smoked tuna for MVR 120, the price has been reduced to MVR 105.
MIFCO has also recently reduced the price of its Fasmeeru tuna cans as well.
While a 48-unit case of oil-based tuna cans was previously MVR 640, it is now MVR 575. A case of brine-based tuna cans, which was previously MVR 595 can now be bought for MVR 530.
