MIRA makes revenue of 1.15 billion in November

Maldives Island Revenue Authority (MIRA) has made a revenue of 1.15 billion in the month of November.

MIRA has revealed that compared to 2018’s November statistics, this is an increase of 17.7 percent and another 33.5 percent compared to this year.

The institution has said that the increase in revenue during this period is due to high income made through Airport service charge, Green Tax and lease period extension fee.

Moreover, statistics released by MIRA show that most revenue was made through tax charged on the value of goods and services supplied in the Maldives (GST).

MIRA made a revenue of USD 51.6 million in the year of 2018.
