Mr. Boris Johnson Appointed Prime Minister of England

After his appointment as the Leader of Conservative Party, Mr. Boris Johnson has secured the position of Prime Minister of England.

In the election held to appoint the leader of the Party, Mr. Johnson received 92,153 votes while his opponent, Mr. Jeremy Hunt received 46,656 votes.

After his election, Mr. Johnson stated that he will ensure that the public reaps benefits from the exit from European Union (EU) on October 13th.

A total of over 160,000 members from the Conservative Party were eligible to vote while 87.4% out of the eligible voted in the election.
