The land reclamation and shore protection project in the Gaafu Dhaalu Thinadhoo industrial zone has been awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
The agreement was signed today. The agreement was signed by Director General of Housing Ministry Ahmed Tholhath. CEO of MTCC Adam Azim signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
The project is valued at MVR 125 million and is to be completed within 660 days.
Under the project, 219,595 square meters of land will be reclaimed, 1,336 meters of revetment will be constructed, 468 meters of revetment will be constructed, 284 meters of land will be constructed and 1 concrete bridge will be constructed.
