Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has received an award in recognition of their exemplary operations in all aspects from their game-changing dredger “Mahaa Jarraafu” to being the leading marine and civil contractor in the Maldives. The Award for “Operational Excellence for the Year 2017” was presented to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) at the Gold 100 Gala which was held at Bandos Maldives on the 22nd of February 2018.
MTCC has had an extremely successful 2017, Possessing the largest machinery fleet in the Maldives and acts as the engine of the Maldivian economy. On 25th October 2017, MTCC received their trailing suction hopper dredger “Mahaa Jarraafu”. The dredger has already reclaimed land for Kulhudhufushi Airport and has received plenty of international dredging offers identifying their exemplary operations.
Upon receiving the awards, General Manager of MTCC, Mr Ismail Adhuham said that it is an honour to receive such an award. We have been at the forefront of the Maldivian economy and we believe that our operations play a huge role in developing the country. We are proud to be “Rayyithunge Kunfuni”.
