The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has begun its operations at the K. Dhiffushi Land Reclamation and Shore Protection project site as of yesterday.
This project encompasses various tasks, including reclamation operations spanning 22.97 hectares, the construction of a 710-metre revetment, repair work on a 300-metre revetment for the existing island, the installation of a 670-metre groyne, and the construction of a 270-metre groyne for the pre-existing island.
The total project value stands at MVR 157.33 million.
