Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) states that they have successfully completed the N. Henbadhoo harbour upgrade project on 21 November 2020.
Scope of works for the project include dredging and excavation operations of 44,615cbm; the construction of a 203m quay wall; a 259m breakwater; a 173m revetment; a 25m Groynes; installation of 1,015sqm of paved area and 203m of Rock apron.
The Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the project to MTCC on 23 June 2019 for MVR 30.3 million. The project was mobilized on 24 September 2019.
