Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has generated MVR 593 million as revenue during the second quarter of this year.
Statistics released by the company show a revenue of MVR 1.1 billion for the past two quarters. While, MVR 593 million was generated in the second quarter of this year, revenue for the first quarter was MVR 550 million.
Operating profit for Q2 this year was MVR 94.53 million, and the profit before tax was MVR 77.78 million. Furthermore, earnings per share stood at MVR 8.23.
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) was incorporated on 18 December 1980 as the first public company in the Maldives. Throughout its existence MTCC has positioned itself as the leading marine and land transport provider and civil and marine constructor.
This year, MTCC has been carrying out several projects across the country. This includes harbour construction and land reclamation projects.
