According to the corporation, the vehicles will not only cut emissions of hazardous gases, but will also contribute to efforts to enhance customer service.

Currently, 12 fuel buses are used for the Male’ City minibus service, each of which accommodates 20 passengers. With the addition of the 6 new electric buses, the Male’ bus service will have a total of 18 vehicles in its fleet. Nevertheless, it is unclear when these new buses will be put into operation.
