Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that work on the design and build of R. Maduvvari South Harbour is well underway, with an overall 45% project progress.
According to MTCC, concrete works required for the quay wall construction is currently ongoing.
The R. Maduvvari South Harbor development scheme consists of dredging 7,280cbm from channel, dredging 65,520cbm from harbor basin, breakwater construction of 411m, quay wall construction of 566m, revetment construction of 135m, installation of 2825 sqm paved area and installation of navigation lights and streetlights.
