Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the work on design and build of Th. Guraidhoo Harbor is well underway, with overall 40% project progress. The company has completed installation of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction.
Project works consist of dredging and excavation operations of 24,485cbm; construction of a 325m breakwater; a 185m quay wall; a 22m revetment and 1,875sqm of paved area.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 46.01 million.
