Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) signed an agreement with the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure – Maldives towards the implementation of the B. Eydhafushi and Sh. Noomaraa Harbor Development Project.
The agreement was signed by Permanent Secretary of Planning Ministry Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MTCC Adam Azim.
Sh. Noomaraa Harbor Development Project
Scope of works includes 5076cbm maintenance dredging operations, 34,386cbm new harbour basin dredging operations, 2920cbm channel dredging operations, 302.60 m breakwater, 64m revetment, 177m quay wall, 32m existing quay wall repair, mooring buoys, ramp (11m x 11m), two jetties, harbour lights, 1652sqm pavement, 311m kerbs. The value of the project is MVR 53.33 million and the project is to be completed within 455 days.
B. Eydhafushi Harbor Development Project
Scope of works includes 28,304cbm maintenance dredging operations, 3354cbm channel dredging operations, 170m breakwater, 383m revetment, 402m quay wall, ramp (11m x 11m), bridge (18m x 2m), harbour lights, 1814 sqm pavement, 402m kerbs. The value of the project is MVR 64.67 million and the project is to be completed within 450 days.
