Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure – Maldives towards implementing Ha. Hoarafushi Airport Coastal Protection Project.
CEO Adam Azim signed on behalf of MTCC and Ms. Fathimath Shaana Farooq, Director General, signed on behalf of MNPHI. MP Ahmed Saleem graced the ceremony.
Scope of works for the project include; construction of a 2,861m quay wall on both sides of the runway and construction of a concrete culvert on the causeway which connects from Hoarafushi to the Airport.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 90.5 million and the project is to be completed within 360 days.
