Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the Sh. Lhaimagu Harbor Development Project has reached an overall completion rate of 85%. Concurrently, the revetment profiling work for the project has achieved a 10% completion.
The project involves several key components, including new harbour basin dredging operations (24,343 cubic metres), existing harbour basin dredging operations (14,412 cubic metres), and channel dredging operations (6,000 cubic metres).
Additionally, the project includes the construction of a 414-metre quay wall, a 350-metre breakwater, a 500-metre revetment, a 50-metre groyne, a ramp, 2291 square metres of harbour pavement, and the installation of navigational and harbour lights.
This project is valued at MVR 60.70 million.
