Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has commenced work on establishing a water supply system in AA. Mathiveri.
The project was inaugurated by Managing Director of MWSC Hassan Shah, Chairman of Maldives Post Limited Mohamed Abdulla, Mathiveri MP Hassan Zareer and President of Mathiveri Council Ahmed Aslam.
MWSC said that work is underway to send the pipes and other materials required to establish the water supply system in Mathiveri.
Project details:
- MVR 38.83 million project
- A main pipeline network of 86 kilometers will be established
- RO facility building to be built
- Two RO plants to be set up to supply water
- Three tanks will be placed to store water
- Water meters will be installed in houses
- Water analysis equipment to be provided
