Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has held its Annual General Meeting 2020.
As revealed in the AGM, in 2020, the company was able to efficiently deliver its services despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this way, MWSC was able to earn a 5 percent higher net profit compared to the previous year.
During the AGM, the company’s board of directors highlighted this achievement, attributing the success to the company’s management, its organisational strategy to reduce costs, as well as the hard work of its staff members.
MWSC also aided the government’s efforts in combatting the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, under its CSR initiatives, the company has helped in the construction of COVID facilities. It has also provided support in the fields of education, health, sports and community development as well.
