Customer who have not watched anything on video streaming platform Netflix will be cancelled if they do not wish to maintain their subscription, stated the on-demand video streaming service Netflix.
Netflix stated that they have notified subscribers with no activities for 12 months since the subscription if they wish to maintain the membership.
The company stated that the last thing they want is people paying for something they’re not using.
The popular streaming platform also said that in the industry these inactive users are known as zombie accounts and they represent less than half of 1% of its overall member base.
Netflix reported more than 182 million subscribers at the end of March 31st.
