Ooredoo decides to gift an air ambulance to the Maldives

Qatar-based telecommunications giant, Ooredoo has decided to gift an air ambulance to the Republic of Maldives.

In a ceremony held to hand over the three sea ambulances gifted by Ooredoo to the Maldives, CEO of Ooredoo Maldives Najib Khan stated that to further strengthen the health sector of the country, the Chairman of Ooredoo group, Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al Thani has decided to gift an air ambulance as well. Further details have yet to be shared by the telecommunications company.

Najib also explained that two of the three gifted sea ambulances have arrived to the Maldives and the third sea ambulance will arrive within this year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Health Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim thanked Ooredoo for their generous contribution and mentioned that this would tremendously help in improving the health sector of the country. A total of 29 ambulances will be in service.
