With the arrival of Mahaa Jarraafu, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that land reclamation works at R. Dhuvaafaru will commence soon.
According to MTCC, the R. Dhuvaafaru Land Reclamation and Shore Protection project consists of dredging and reclamation operations of 22.2 hectares; 423m rock boulder revetment construction and 70m breakwater construction.
MTCC was incorporated in 1980 and is currently the longest-serving public company in the Maldives.
