Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on the R. Kinolhas Harbour Development Project.
According to MTCC, the work on design and build of R. Kinolhas Harbour Development Project is well underway, with overall 71% project progress. The company has completed quay wall block installation works, and the third shipment of rock boulders have been delivered to the project site.
The project work scope includes dredging and excavation operations, construction of a 162m groyne, a 285m breakwater, a 65m revetment, a 186m quay wall, a ramp, installation of a 1663.36sqm harbor pavement, navigational aids and harbor lights.
MTCC revealed that the value of the project is MVR 45.1 million.
