Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the work on design and build of R. Rasmaadhoo Harbor is well underway, with overall 75% project progress.
The first barge of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction have been delivered to the project site on 9th January 2022.
Project works consists of dredging and excavation operations of 8,100cbm; construction of a 377m breakwater installation of 600sqm of paved area, installation of navigation lights and streetlights.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 28.1 million.
