Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) states that R. Rasmaadhoo Harbor Project is near completion with overall 80% project progress.
Work on design and build of the Harbor is well underway and they have completed installation of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction on 29th January 2022. Construction of breakwater and installation of harbor pavement is currently ongoing, with 82% and 69% completion respectively.
Project works consists of; dredging and excavation operations of 8,100cbm; construction of a 377m breakwater, installation of 600sqm of paved area, installation of navigation lights and streetlights. This project is valued at MVR 28.1 million.
