Ramadan Preparations: STO Introduces Price-Stabilised Food Supplies

State Trading Organisation (STO) has commenced the sale of onions, eggs, and potatoes in the Maldives as part of efforts to stabilise prices in the lead-up to Ramadan. The company, which annually imports and distributes essential food items during the holy month, announced that shipments have now arrived and are available for both wholesale and retail purchase.

Ramadan is a period of high demand for food items, and the initiative aims to ensure the availability of key goods at stable prices. STO has stated that these products will be sold based on prevailing market prices, with adjustments made according to market fluctuations.
