Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on the Sh. Bilehfahi Harbour project.
MTCC states that work on the design and build of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbour is well underway, with overall 53% project progress. The company has completed construction of quay wall for Sh. Bilehfahi Harbour on 30th October 2021. Installation of harbor pavement is currently ongoing.
Scope of works involve, dredging and excavation operations of 24,125cbm; construction of a 376m breakwater; a 98m quay wall; installation of 1,150 sqm paved area and installation of streetlights.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 28.42 million.
