Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) states that the work on design and build of Sh. Foakaidhoo Harbor Development is well underway, with overall 62% project progress.
According to MTCC, the fourth shipment of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction has been delivered to the project site on 15th April 2022.
Project work consists of dredging operations of 45,795cbm, construction of a 464m quay wall, a 100m revetment, a 507m breakwater, installation of 2320sqm harbor pavement, installation of streetlights and navigation lights.
The value of the project is MVR 64.6 million.
