Ibrahim Shiuree has been appointed the new Managing Director of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).
Shiuree has previously served on the Steering Committee of the World Bank’s Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth project.
Notably, Shiuree currently holds the position of Vice President of the Table Tennis Association of Maldives. In 2019, the table tennis champion was conferred the prestigious National Award in the field of sports and promoting professional sportsmanship;
Shiuree has previously served as a private company’s Director of Projects and Infrastructure.
He was involved in airport projects, including the Fuvahmulah Airport, Dharavandhoo Airport, Ifuru Airport, Kooddoo Airport, Kuda Huvadhoo Airport, and the Kulhudhuhfushi Airport projects.
Furthermore, he also serves as an Executive Board Member of the Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI).
