Maldives Sports Corporation has signed an agreement with Pension Office as the Associate Partner for the ‘three-generation walk 2019″.
On behalf of the Pension Office, the Chief Executive Officer—Mohamed Hussain Manik and the Managing Director of Maldives Sports Corporation—Mauroof Ahmed signed the agreement.
The three-generation walk is an initiative of the Pension Office to celebrate the International Day for Older Persons.
The walk will take place on 18th October, Friday at Hulhumale’ Central Park from 16:00 pm-18:00 pm. Registration can be done through 3genwalk.pension.gov.mv and is open for the public.
Pension Office has stated that a special lucky draw will be conducted at the event where 3 winners will receive MVR 2000. Other prizes include MVR 3000 for groups that include more than three generations and MVR 3000 for the group with the oldest person.
The three-generation walk intends to promote and create public awareness on providing adequate health provisions and social care for the aging population and the significant roles that they have played in our lives.
