The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will hold a session on “Bilateral Trade between Sri Lanka and Maldives” on Thursday 20 October 2016 from 3.00 to 4.30 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium on D R Wijewardene Mawatha in Colombo.
High Commissioner from the Maldices Zahiya Zareer will be the special guest speaker. She will be assisted by the counselor.
Trade between Sri Lanka and Maldives has been increasing over the last few years and Maldives has emerged as one of Sri Lanka’s major trading partners.
Sri Lanka has potential to export fresh fruit, vegetables, coconut and rubber products, vegetable fats, Plastic products etc. to the Maldives. Also there is potential in the Services areas such as travel and tourism, hotel, accounting services, etc. in the Maldives.
Participants will have an opportunity to meet with the High Commissioner and representatives of the Maldives High Commission..
Managing Directors, CEOs, General Managers, Export/Import Managers, and those interested in trade & business with Maldives will benefit from the presentation.
