State Electronic Company Limited (STELCO) has contributed MVR 500,000 to the “Fund with Palestine” to assist those affected by the Israeli insurgency in the Palestinian territories.
The donation was handed over at a ceremony held at STELCO’s boardroom. Ahmed Shareef, the Managing Director of STELCO, presented the check to the International Aid Campaign (IAC). Ahmed Iqbal, Chairman of the International Aid Campaign, received the donation.
A fund box has also been set up in the company’s lobby to support fundraising activities by the International Aid Campaign for Palestinian Relief.
