Maldivian, the airline division of Island Aviation Services, has resolved technical issues with its Airbus A320 aircraft. The plane returned to Malé on Sunday afternoon following repairs and maintenance at Sepang Aircraft Engineering in Malaysia.
The airline confirmed that the Airbus A320 resumed operations last night, with the Male’-Dhaka (Bangladesh) flight departing at 21:00 hrs. The announcement came after Saturday’s Male’-Dhaka flight was cancelled due to the need for repairs.
This aircraft had previously experienced issues in June and underwent servicing at that time. According to Maldivian, the latest cancellation was deemed necessary after the company identified additional issues during post-servicing tests.
Maldivian reassures its passengers that safety and reliability remain its top priorities.
