The temporary UK Visa Application Centre closed yesterday afternoon, after providing visa facilitation services for three consecutive days.
The Government of the United Kingdom had established the Visa Application Center in the Maldives on the request of the Maldivian Government, in order to ease the process for those applying for UK visas, especially for students going to the United Kingdom for higher studies.
A total of 87 applications were processed from the Centre. This year recorded the highest number of applications processed in Male’ Visa Application Center to date.
