Various statistics have revealed that tourist arrivals from America into the Maldives has totaled to 18,295 within the first half of this year resulting in an increase by 19% compared to the same period of last year.
Travel agents from America has stated that, Maldives is gradually becoming more familiar and admired among the travelers in America. They further stated that Maldives was among the top destinations that Americans travel during summer.
According to American Express Travel Agency, in comparison to last year’s statistics, this year, tourists traveling to Maldives increased by 117%. Moreover, Americans who travel around the world has increased too.
