Maldives under-23 National Team has departed for the SAFF Games to be held from 1st-10th December in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal.
Along with Maldives, 6 other nations including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka are participating in this multi-sports event.
The U-23 National team will take on the field on 2nd December where they will be competing against Sri Lanka at 17:00hrs.
The main venue of the event is Dasrath Rangasala Stadium which will host the men’s football and has an increased capacity of 20,000.
SAFF Games was originally slated to be held from 9th-18th March 2019.
