Public Service Media (PSM) has announced that they will be introducing Master Chef to Maldives.This idea was inspired by the phenomenal success of the first ever franchise show held by PSM in Maldives – Maldivian Idol.
Master Chef is set to be a platform for employment for interested local chefs, as per PSM. As the hotel industry currently occupies a higher foreign percentage of chefs, PSM hopes that more local chefs will shine upon the arrival of this show.
PSM has already bought the format of the franchise from Endemol Shine Group and says that the production process is currently underway. They have also opened the opportunity for interested sponsors to send in their expression of interest to their email address – info@psm.mv
This competitive cooking show was created by Franc Roddam and was first staged in the US in 2010. Since then, 9 seasons of the series have been held across the world and has become one of the most widely watched shows in the world.
