A rapid fever has been spreading at Ha. Kelaa.
The senior administrator of Kelaa health center Ibrahim Rushdi stated that multiple patients with high fever and vomiting have consulted the health center.
He also noted that they have put in a request for more doctors to the Health Ministry as the only doctor at the health centre has been admitted after falling ill. Due to this, the patients are being treated by the health workers at the facility.
Around 10 children below the age of 10 have been brought for doctor consultation while 2 children have been admitted and others have been sent home after observation.
He further highlighted that a doctor from the capital of HA atoll, HA. Dhihdoo is scheduled to arrive on 16th August, Friday.
