The largest forum held in the country for Accounting professionals has opened for registration yesterday.
The Maldives Accountants Forum is an annual event held to create a platform to facilitate discussions from the regulators and business community focusing enabling accountants to attune their work to the needs of the industry stakeholders in addition to providing capacity development opportunities for the professionals. This year’s forum is held on the theme “Readiness Mindset – Striving for Excellence”. The 3-day forum will be held from 15-17 November 2021.
This year’s forum will also include technical sessions and panel discussions by both local and foreign experts in the profession. The annual forum, recognized as the biggest CPD event for those in the profession, is organized by Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) this year. CA Maldives recommends all its members to take part in the forum to complete the CPD requirement needed to renew membership in 2022.
Registration is open for those practicing in the profession as well as students of the field. The forum was previously held by Auditor General’s Office in the years 2017 – 2019.
