Villa College has announced an extension of the application deadline for its January 2024 intake. Prospective students now have until January 6, 2024 to submit their applications.
A diverse array of 190 courses is being offered, covering disciplines such as Information Technology, Teaching, Law, Tourism, Business Management, Engineering, Nursing, Psychology, and more. The intake encompasses 21 Masters level courses, 26 Post Graduate Diploma and Post Post Graduate Certificate level courses, 45 Degree level courses, 50 Diploma level courses, 17 Foundation level courses, and 17 Certificate level courses.
Notably, the Maldives National Skills Development Authority (MNSDA) is introducing National Certificate 4 and 10 Certificate 3 courses, including Housekeeping, Reservation and Ticketing, Water Sports, Computer Hardware and Networking, Lifeguarding, Management, Airport Representative Services, Cashiering, Tour Guiding, Electrical Installation & Maintenance.
Villa College’s engineering programs, validated by the University of Portsmouth, UK, allow students completing their first three years at Villa College to study the final year of their degree at the University of Portsmouth.
Furthermore, Villa College collaborates with Taylors University, Malaysia, offering Bachelor of Culinary Management, Bachelor of Mass Communications, Bachelor of International Hospitality Management, Master of International Hospitality Management, and Master of Communication. Students have the opportunity to complete part of their course in Malaysia.
ACCA programs, including knowledge level, skill level, and professional level, as well as the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting at Oxford Brookes University, UK, are also open for the upcoming June intake. Additionally, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) courses are available at Villa College.
Courses for the September intake, both online and face-to-face, are open, alongside private courses at Villa College and courses from the University of the West of England for January 2024. The application deadline for these courses is December 23, with courses scheduled to begin in the last week of January.
Villa College’s various campuses, including Q.I. Campus, Naifaru Campus, Gan Campus, Mahibadhoo Campus, Hithadhoo Campus, and Kulhudhuffushi Campus, will host the courses, offering students diverse opportunities for academic pursuit.
