Dhiraagu has announced its partnership with the Hiyala Weekend Market as the event’s exclusive Digital Partner. The market, organized by the Business Centre Corporation (BCC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development & Trade, aims to empower women entrepreneurs in the Maldives.
The Hiyala Weekend Market takes place weekly on Thursdays and Fridays from 4-11 pm at the Container Park in Hulhumalé Phase I. The Dhiraagu-powered market provides a dedicated platform for 18 women entrepreneurs each week to showcase and sell their products. Interested participants can register with BCC for a place on the waitlist.
Naiya Shareef, Manager of Brand & Events at Dhiraagu, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Empowering women is a key focus area of our CSR programme, and we hope that the market opens up even more exposure and opportunities for different women entrepreneurs in our community.”
