Sixteen plots of land on the beachfront and beachside in Hulhumalé are now open for purchase.
According to the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), Beachfront plots range from 1,096 to 3,252 square feet, with prices set at MVR 4,500 per square foot, totaling between MVR 4.9 million and MVR 14.6 million. Beachside plots, ranging from 1,441 to 3,380 square feet, are priced at MVR 4,000 per square foot, with total costs ranging from MVR 5.8 million to MVR 13.5 million.
These properties are available exclusively to Maldivians. Individuals aged 18 and over can apply, while companies must be registered in the Maldives and fully owned by Maldivians.
The sale will occur in two phases: an initial Expression of Interest (EOI) stage, followed by a bidding process if multiple EOIs are received for a plot.
