Ooredoo Maldives has announced the winners of its lucky draw for the Doha Marathon 2025, selecting Mohamed Azhad Ahmed and Thoriq Mohamed to represent the Maldives in the prestigious international event. The marathon, scheduled for 17 January 2025 in Doha, Qatar, will be an all-expenses-paid experience for the two winners.
This marks the second time Ooredoo Maldives is sponsoring participants for the Doha Marathon, continuing its support for athletic pursuits and international representation.
Eligibility Criteria for Participation
Participants in the lucky draw had to meet specific requirements, including:
- Being an Ooredoo Maldives customer for at least one year, as of 1 October 2023.
- Demonstrating fitness and prior experience by having completed a half-marathon or full marathon.
- Holding a valid Maldivian passport and meeting all entry prerequisites for Qatar.
The lucky draw was conducted among eligible candidates who registered by the deadline of 26 November 2024.
