Built in 2006, the Hulhumalé Grand Mosque accommodates over 1,800 people. Its geometric ceiling design and serene, tree-lined grounds offer a tranquil space for reflection and prayer. With repairs commencing immediately, the mosque will be ready in time for Ramadan, ensuring worshippers can perform prayers in comfort during the holy month.

“Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, community, and prayer,” said Khalid Al-Hamadi, CEO of Ooredoo Maldives. “Ooredoo Maldives is honoured to partner with Qatar Charity to enhance the facilities at Masjid Al Sheikh Qasim bin Al-Thani. We hope this effort will enrich the experience for our community during this blessed month and beyond as part of our commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.”

This project reflects Ooredoo Maldives’ commitment to supporting community initiatives and promoting cultural and spiritual values.
