Dhiraagu has relaunched its popular ThashiBari movement this Ramadan, bringing back a cherished Maldivian tradition of sharing food within communities.
This year’s ThashiBari movement has seen Dhiraagu teams actively engaging with the public, distributing special Dhiraagu dishes to people of all ages. The initiative encourages recipients to pass on these gifts, creating a chain of generosity that embodies the communal spirit of Ramadan.
Originally introduced by Dhiraagu in 2017, the ThashiBari movement aims to revive the tradition of exchanging food between households. Over time, the initiative has become an integral part of Ramadan in the Maldives, inspiring other companies and organisations to adopt similar activities that promote generosity and togetherness.
In addition to the ThashiBari movement, Dhiraagu continues to offer various activities and promotions throughout Ramadan, further strengthening cultural traditions and community ties.
