Dhiraagu Gamers Guild (DGG) has successfully concluded its inaugural ‘GameQuest – Addu Edition’ in Addu City, marking a milestone as the group’s first-ever gaming tournament held in the atolls. The two-day event took place from 16 to 17 March 2025 at Sharafuddin School, attracting over 100 participants and a large audience of gaming enthusiasts.
The event featured the highly anticipated EA FC 25 tournament, where winners claimed a total prize pool of MVR 10,000. Alongside the main competition, attendees enjoyed popular gaming experiences such as the GT7 racing simulation and Astro Bot, along with engaging VR simulation games that drew considerable interest.
Adding to the excitement, four individuals were selected through a lucky draw and awarded cash prizes, enhancing the overall experience for participants and spectators alike.
Dhiraagu Gamers Guild highlighted its ongoing commitment to promoting esports in the Maldives and supporting the development of young gaming talent across the country.
