Vacation Expo 2025 Draws to a Close After Three Vibrant Days

The final day of Vacation Expo 2025 is underway at Central Park, Hulhumalé, marking the conclusion of the Maldives’ largest annual travel and tourism exhibition. Since opening on 17 April, the event has drawn thousands of visitors and hosted over 40 exhibitors from across the travel industry.

Organised by Highrise Pvt Ltd, this year’s expo was inaugurated by the Minister of Tourism, Thoriq Ibrahim, and brought together a diverse range of stakeholders — from local guesthouses and resorts to international medical tourism providers and foreign tourism boards.

The event also featured prominent Maldivian travel operators, offering visitors the chance to explore a broad range of destinations, services, and industry trends under one roof.

Ace Travels Maldives served as the main sponsor, while Inner Maldives, Ace Aviation Services, and Voyages Maldives supported the expo as co-sponsors. The event received endorsements from major industry associations including the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO), and the National Hotels & Guesthouse Association of Maldives (NHGAM).

With its blend of industry networking, public engagement, and destination showcases, Vacation Expo 2025 has once again underscored the Maldives’ standing as a hub for both outbound and inbound travel. As the event wraps up this evening, visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the remaining hours to connect with travel experts, plan their next holidays, and explore emerging options in healthcare travel.
