GAGE, a provider of security and fire safety services in the Maldives, has announced changes to its senior leadership, appointing two new Chief Operating Officers for its core business units. The appointments took effect on 1 July 2025.
Imran Ahmed Waheed has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of GAGE Security. He has been with the company since 2016, with previous responsibilities spanning field operations, logistics, and client management. In his new role, he is expected to oversee day-to-day operations and service delivery across the firm’s security portfolio.

Umair Ahmed, who joined GAGE in 2015, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of GAGE Fire Safety. His previous roles included work in operations, training, and logistics. He will now lead the division’s operational planning and coordination efforts.
The appointments are part of broader organisational changes as GAGE adjusts its internal structure. The company, which was established in 2010 and operates under the MGH Group, provides services to resort clients and institutions across the Maldives, including banks and embassies. It is also engaged in developing additional services in areas such as marine security and professional training.
The firm stated that the changes are aimed at improving operational leadership within its business lines.
