The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), also known as Visit Maldives, has introduced a refreshed logo and updated brand identity as part of efforts to reinforce the Maldives’ image as a premier global tourism destination. The changes, which officially came into effect on 6 July 2025, are described as minor but intentional refinements that aim to deliver a more unified and impactful visual identity across platforms.
The enhanced logo retains the familiar elements of the iconic Maldives brand but features subtle adjustments in colour tones and a more prominent logotype. These updates are expected to improve visibility, particularly in high-exposure environments such as outdoor advertising and global tourism campaigns.
Alongside the visual changes, MMPRC has released revised brand guidelines. These include new font selections, simplified design elements, and a stronger focus on destination imagery. The updated approach aims to reduce visual clutter and ensure consistency in all promotional materials, from digital platforms to printed collateral.
According to MMPRC, the refresh underscores a commitment to evolving with the demands of global branding while remaining true to the core appeal of the Maldives as a destination. The renewed identity is intended to support ongoing marketing efforts in key international markets and maintain the Maldives’ position as one of the most recognised and awarded destinations in the world.
