Dhiraagu has renewed its partnership with the Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC) under the Partners for Humanity Initiative for 2025-26, reaffirming its commitment to supporting humanitarian services across the country.
The renewed agreement will allow MRC to continue providing essential services, including first aid, psychological and social support, as well as disaster response and recovery activities. With Dhiraagu’s backing, the MRC aims to strengthen its nationwide outreach and deliver timely assistance to vulnerable communities both during emergencies and in everyday circumstances.
Speaking about the partnership, Dhiraagu’s Senior Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility, Bishaara Hameed, said the company is honoured to support MRC in its mission of serving local communities. “We deeply value the dedication and compassion that their team and volunteers bring to those in need and honour their remarkable commitment. Through this partnership, we believe we can strengthen resilience, inspire hope, and create lasting positive change,” she said.
Dhiraagu has long supported MRC’s initiatives, and this renewal underscores its continued role in enhancing community resilience in the Maldives. Both organisations highlighted that the strengthened collaboration ensures humanitarian services will reach those most in need.
