Ooredoo Maldives has extended its Ramadan gaming campaign, Karaa Felhun, giving users additional time to participate while introducing changes that widen access to its top prize.
The campaign will now run until 26 March, following strong participation during Ramadan. As part of the extension, Ooredoo has revised the competition structure to allow players from all teams to compete for the Grand Prize Bundle valued at MVR 100,000, removing earlier limitations tied to team performance.
The prize bundle includes a PlayStation 5, cash rewards, and a range of premium gadgets, forming one of the larger prize offerings in a local digital campaign.
Karaa Felhun, hosted on the Ooredoo App, combines game mechanics with location-based interaction. Through features such as Karaa Quest, users can explore their surroundings, complete in-app challenges, and earn points for their teams.
Alongside the grand prize, participants continue to receive daily rewards throughout the campaign period. These include free data, cash prizes, electronics, and household items such as air purifiers.
Ooredoo Maldives’ Chief Commercial Officer, Hussain Niyaz, said the extension was driven by high levels of engagement from users across the country, adding that opening the grand prize to all teams is intended to make the campaign more inclusive.
The campaign reflects the company’s continued focus on digital engagement initiatives during Ramadan, using app-based experiences to drive customer participation while offering incentives tied to usage.
